Who we are

PriceBySize (“the app”) is a Shopify app operated by Kawamoto Apps, an independent developer based in Japan. This policy explains what the app collects when a merchant installs it and how that information is used.

Information we collect

When you install the app, Shopify gives us your shop’s domain and an access token so the app can work with your store. The app also reads basic shop details through the Shopify API, such as your store currency and whether it is a development store.

We store the shop domain and access token (the “session”) on Cloudflare, our hosting provider. We do not store anything else on our servers.

Information we do not collect

The app does not collect or store personal information about your customers, such as names, email addresses, addresses or payment details.

The measurements and options your customers enter are saved by Shopify on the cart and the order as line item details. They stay in your Shopify store; our servers never receive them.

Your calculator settings are saved in your own Shopify store as app data on your products and shop, not on our servers.

How we use information

We use the session only to provide the app: to show and save your calculators, switch on the app’s price and checkout functions, and check whether the calculator block is on your theme. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell or share it.

Service providers

Shopify (the platform the app runs on, including billing) and Cloudflare (hosting and session storage). Both process data only as needed to run their services.

Retention and deletion

When you uninstall the app, we delete your session. Shopify then sends a request to erase shop data, and we delete anything that remains. Calculator settings stored in your Shopify store can be removed by deleting the calculators in the app before you uninstall.

Because we hold no customer data, customer data requests and erasure requests sent by Shopify need no further action from us, and we answer them as required.

Your rights

You can ask what information we hold about your shop, or ask us to delete it, at any time.
